‘Heartwarming’ — Tolani Abbas Thanks Family, Friends For Support After Wife’s Demise

Tolani Abbas has thanked his family and friends for their heartwarming support after his wife’s demise.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Alhaji Tolani Abbas, the Head of the Abbas Family of Epe, Lagos State, has appreciated the support shown to his family following the death of his wife, Alhaja Risikat Abbas.

His appreciation message was contained in a statement on Monday.

Alhaja Abbas passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

At her recent Fidau prayer, friends and family gathered to pay tribute to her.

Expressing gratitude for the support, Alhaji Abbas said the show of love was heartwarming and comforting.

“I wish to express my sincere appreciation for your prayers, calls, messages, moral and financial support on the transition of my dear wife ALHAJA RISKAT ADEOLA ABBAS who answered the call of the Almighty on Thursday, 13th June, 2024,” the statement reads.

“Your show of love and support at this period is heartwarming, comforting, and deeply appreciated.

“May God Almighty bless your homes and grant each one of us the grace of a long, fulfilled life. Ameen. Thank you.”

Speaking at her Fidau prayer, the deceased’s husband remembered their 67 years together as a married couple fondly, saying he “will miss her so much.”

“She was lovely, kind, and understanding,” Alhaji Abbas said of his wife fondly known as Mama Nurse during her lifetime.

Also, Alhaji Bolatito Abbas, the fifth son of Alhaja Abass, fondly remembered his mother as a great and wonderful woman.

Similarly, the couple’s grandson also remembered Alhaja Abbas’s unconditional love.

“We’ll always remember how she showed us love and care, and how we checked on each other every day,” he said.
