EKO HOT BLOG reports that as Christians worldwide commemorate the death of Jesus Christ on Good Friday, Nigerian actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has thrown shades at Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his allies on social media.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress slammed individuals who she described as backstabbers, betrayers, and snitches.
She also made reference to Judas Iscariot in the Bible, who betrayed Jesus Christ, saying that this week is dedicated to such people.
In the caption that accompanied her video, Tonto Dikeh mentioned the name of Governor Wike and others, suggesting that they are part of the betrayers and backstabbers that she was referring to. She added that she hopes they are basking in the glory of what they did to Jesus Christ and continue to do today.
The video has since gone viral on social media, with many Nigerians reacting to Tonto Dikeh’s comments. While some have applauded her for speaking out against betrayal and hypocrisy, others have criticized her for using the occasion of Easter to attack political opponents.
Tonto Dikeh, a former deputy governorship candidate in Rivers State, has been involved in several controversies in the past. She has also been an advocate for women’s rights and has used her platform to speak out against gender-based violence and other social issues.
