Andreas Iniesta rifled home a shot from the edge of the box two minutes before time. While the setting of Troy Deeney’s injury time goal against Leicester may not have been the finals of the Champions League, as far as pure entertainment value goes, there are few that can match up to it. The two erstwhile Championship clubs were fighting it out for a place in the playoffs to earn promotion to the Premier League. Leicester won a contentious penalty through Anthony Knockaert’s histrionics and the foxes looked set for a playoff spot.
However, as though fate intervened, Knockaert saw his penalty saved. In the blink of an eye, the ball was falling at the feet of Troy Deeney to volley it home from inside the box.

However, just as Atletico were preparing their celebrations, Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos rose above the crowd to latch onto a corner to send his side level.
From there on in, Real ran riot in extra time with the game ending by four goals to one.
The words, “And Solskjaer has won it” are forever etched into the memories of United fans the world over. Over the course of his career, the baby-faced assassin had made a name for himself by scoring crucial goals late on in games. Amongst his considerable collection of injury time goals, none stands out more than his goal at the Camp Nou against Bayern Munich in the finals of the Champions League.
