Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a businesswoman identified as Akpezi Okpidi in Ughelli town, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The victim is said to be the daughter of Hon. Harryman Okoro, a former PDP Delta State House of Assembly aspirant.
Gunmen abducted Okpidi at about 8:00 a.m on Saturday, September 12, when the victim was said to be headed for her shop at Otovwodo, a suburb of Ughelli. She was reportedly ambushed while driving on her Honda car and whisked away along the Ughelli Township Stadium axis of the community.
The hoodlums who operated in a black tinted GLK Benz, drove through the Ughelli/Patani Expressway to an unknown destination.
