Musafaran, according to reports, was received into the APC yesterday by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.

It was confirmed in a statement made available to journalists on Sunday by the Director-General Press and Media Affairs to Gov. Buni, Mamman Mohammed, that the former PDP official was received into APC alongside some other defectors.

At the reception, the new entrant said the performance of the Buni-led administration in improving the lives of the people of the State made them dump their former camp for the APC.

Some former executive members of the PDP from the Geidam Local Government Area of the state were reportedly among the defectors.
