Traders Lament Fire Service Response As Fire Engulfs Abuja Market
A early morning fire broke out at the popular Kugbo furniture and building material market in Abuja, destroying goods reportedly worth billions of naira.
No immediate cause has been given for the inferno, but some witnesses said it may have been a result of an electrical failure.

According to the traders, operatives of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) only arrived the scene about three hours after after the nrws.
They, therefore, called on the government to set up a fire service point in the market to forestall future outbreaks.
