Six year-old boy identified as Thiago Orellana is reportedly burned alive in front of his father after falling into a clay oven when he climbed on top of it and the walls crumbled under his feet in Argentina
Local media said the accident happened in Santiago del Estero, North Argentina at a time his father was distracted and did not notice his son climbing the oven.
The boy’s father yet to be named frantically called the Las Delicias Municipal Commission authorities when he realised what had happened.
Police and firefighters scrambled to the scene and desperately tried to reach the boy but were overcome by the heat of flames.

The boy reportedly managed to climb on top of the clay oven as firewood burned within, while his father was distracted before its roof caved in under his feet.
It was unclear why the father and his son were at the clay oven but a local media source, Los Andes, reported that the boy’s father was a charcoal burner.
The devastating accident took place amid Argentina’s lockdown.
President Alberto Fernandez implemented measures on March 20, due to last until April 26, banning all except essential workers from leaving their homes.
