Tragedy As Woman Throws Daughters Into Well In Osun

  • A woman has thrown her daughters into well in Osun State.

 

EKOHOTBLOG reports that tragedy struck in Osun State as a woman threw her two daughters into a deep well in the state.

It was gathered that the tragic incident occurred on Monday at Koledowo in the Ibuaje Area of Osogbo, the state capital.

Sources from the community disclosed that the middle-aged woman reportedly threw her daughters in the well owing to her inability to cater for their welfare.

The sources further stated that the woman dropped her first daughter, aged 7 years, and her younger sister, aged 5 years, into the well in the community at about 2pm on Monday.

The mother of the children, while speaking in an incoherent manner, said she was living abroad before she was later deported, adding that she was frustrated because of hardship in Nigeria.

The woman stated that she discovered that the destinies of her daughters have been tampered with when she was away from home, a development that led to her throwing the children into the well.

As at the time of filing this report, police officers had been called to the scene of the incident while efforts were being made to recover the corpses of both girls.
