Tragedy struck in TASUED as a final year student killed in an exam hall attack.

Eko hot blog reports that, in a shocking incident at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), a final year student was attacked and later succumbed to his injuries.

The student, identified as a leader in the Student Union Government (SUG), was reportedly dragged out of an examination hall by a group of unknown men, believed to be cultists, and severely beaten and macheted.

According to eyewitness accounts and a video circulating on social media, the incident occurred during a mandatory second-semester examination.

The assailants stormed the examination hall and forcibly removed the student, inflicting severe injuries before fleeing the scene as security personnel arrived.

A student who identified herself as Josephine confirmed the incident on social media, stating that, “Cultist enter into exam hall, drag a final year student who is signing out today, beat him and shoot him in TASUED right now.”

The university’s security unit was alerted immediately, but by the time they reached the site, the attackers had already fled, leaving the severely injured student behind.

Security personnel quickly transported him to the school medical center, where he received initial treatment before being referred to the General Hospital in Ijebu-Ode.
