EKO HOT BLOG reports that there was pandemonium along Abuja-Lokoja Expressway earlier today after a fire gutted a petrol station reportedly belonging to popular full-stream oil and gas company, AA RANO.
The incident was confirmed to newsmen by the spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT police command, DSP Josephine Adeh.
According to the police, the inferno broke out while a fuel tanker was offloading a petroleum product at the station.
Adeh further disclosed that police operatives, firefighters, and other emergency responders all responded swiftly and were on the ground to put out the fire and ensure minimal damage to individuals and properties.
