• Transfer: African Football Star Agrees Personal Terms With Barcelona

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Franck Kessie has reached a verbal agreement with Barcelona ahead of a free transfer in the summer, according to TV Dello Sport.

The Ivory Coast midfielder will run out of contract at AC Milan at the end of the season and the Blaugrana are said to be ahead in the transfer chase but there is no signature yet.

Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) were reportedly interested in the 25-year-old.

The former Atalanta ace has long looked certain to leave Milan. That’s mainly because he apparently wanted an unlikely pay package – rumoured to be £6m plus bonuses – to sign a new deal.

Meanwhile, Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta is also inching closer to a move to Barca.

Azpilicueta is also a free agent in the summer after failing to agree a contract extension with Chelsea and has been regularly linked with a move to Barcelona.
