Transfer: Chukwueze Linked With January Move To Saudi Arabia

Samuel Chukwueze has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia during the upcoming January transfer window, as AC Milan are reportedly open to his departure following his struggle to make an impact over two seasons.

Chukwueze joined Milan from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for a €20 million deal plus significant bonuses, becoming the club’s most expensive signing in a window that saw 10 new arrivals at San Siro.

The Nigerian winger has struggled to replicate the impressive form he showed during his five years at Villarreal, where he became a standout player.

Since arriving at Milan, Chukwueze has made 41 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

The 25-year-old has found it difficult to break into the starting lineup this season, mostly appearing as a substitute.

Milan manager Paulo Fonseca recently confirmed that Chukwueze does not fit into his plans, urging the player to seek opportunities elsewhere.

The winger has attracted interest from La Liga side Atletico Madrid and Premier League clubs West Ham and Aston Villa.

Recent reports from Italy indicate that Chukwueze is also drawing attention from Saudi Pro League clubs.

With his market value estimated at €20 million, Milan are likely hoping to recover the amount they invested in the Nigerian international.
