EKO HOT BLOG reports that Chelsea star Edouard Mendy is set to be offered a new and improved contract by the club.
The goalkeeper, 29, has made a huge impact since signing from Stade Rennais in the summer of 2020.

The virtual ever-present is a “low earner” compared to most of his richly-rewarded teammates and is now in line for an improved deal, a Chelsea source has told Football Insider.
His current agreement, which runs until the summer of 2025, is worth around £60,000-a-week.
The European champions are now planning to offer him a significant hike in wages as a reward for his outstanding form.
Chelsea chiefs are aware that Mendy’s deal is not in line with the first-team regulars in Thomas Tuchel’s side and are fearful he could be tempted by rival offers.
The Senegal international has started almost of all of the team’s Premier League and Champions League matches since his £20m arrival.
He played a crucial role as Tuchel marked his first few months at the helm with last season’s Champions League win.
Mendy has maintained that level in his second season, with Chelsea’s ‘best-in-the-league defensive record critical to them narrowly topping the table ahead of Man City and Liverpool.
