“Yes, I am here,” Osimhen said when asked about his plans for the second half of the season, as reported by Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September, has been in sensational form, scoring in three consecutive league games, including a spectacular overhead kick against Antalyaspor upon his return from injury.
His latest goal came in the 67th minute against Besiktas, expertly heading home Gabriel Sara’s cross to double Galatasaray’s lead before the visitors reduced the deficit in stoppage time.
Despite Chelsea’s interest and Nicolas Jackson’s recent improvement, the Blues are still searching for a 20-goal-per-season striker, with Osimhen seen as a potential solution.
Chelsea legends John Mikel Obi and Didier Drogba have also endorsed the Nigerian as a perfect fit for the club.

Okan Buruk’s Galatasaray has greatly benefited from Osimhen’s impact, with the striker delivering four goals and four assists in six appearances, helping the team lead the Turkish Super Lig with 28 points from 10 matches and extending an impressive record of eight wins and two draws in their last 10 games across all competitions.
The win over Besiktas solidifies Galatasaray’s position with a six-point lead over second-placed Samsunspor, while Besiktas remains in fourth with 20 points.
With Osimhen’s commitment to Galatasaray confirmed, Chelsea may have to wait until 2025 to make a formal bid for the in-demand forward, who continues to build his profile in Turkish football.
