KRC Genk’s Head of Football, Dimitri De Condé, has dismissed speculation about the club parting ways with any of its key players, including Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, during the January transfer window.
Arokodare has been linked with a potential move to Fulham, who are reportedly seeking to strengthen their attacking options mid-season.

The Cottagers currently rely on Raúl Jiménez and Rodrigo Muniz as centre-forward options but are keen on bolstering their lineup, fueling rumours of their interest in the Genk forward.
Genk signed Arokodare from Amiens in January 2023, following the departure of Nigerian international Paul Onuachu to Southampton. Although injuries hampered his initial impact, the 24-year-old rebounded to help the Blue-White reach the Jupiler Pro League play-offs last season, scoring 12 goals.
This season, Arokodare’s impressive form has seen him net nine goals in 15 Belgian Pro League matches, drawing the attention of clubs like Fulham. However, De Condé made it clear the club has no intention of selling their star striker mid-season.
“Tolu is not allowed to leave. He is also very grateful to our trainer and will not leave Fink and Genk just like that,” De Condé told TVL Sportcafé via Voetbalnieuws.
Arokodare is just one goal behind Kasper Dolberg, the Jupiler Pro League’s current top scorer, who has 10 goals for Anderlecht.
