“I want to say thank you to the only club I’ve ever known. Honoured to say I’ve been at the club for 12 years and had some unbelievable experiences with some amazing team-mates.”
“Thank you to all the coaches, staff and the fans, I will never forget the memories I have made at this club. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best as I leave ready to start the next chapter of my career.”
“This club will always be my home and, once again, thank you.”
Oyedele joined United’s academy and helped the club win the FA Youth Cup in 2022, alongside the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo – two players who have since cemented their respective places in Erik ten Hag’s plans at Old Trafford.
Oyedele was a regular presence for the U18s and U23s. He also represented Poland at U18, U19 and U21 level.
While at United, the versatile 19-year-old went out on loan to Altrincham and more recently, Forest Green Rovers. He played for the club during their pre-season tour, with his most notable contribution being a brilliant assist for Joe Hugill’s strike against Rangers at Murrayfield.
