Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly dismissed the possibility of a January departure from the Turkish Süper Lig, as the Nigeria international remains focused on winning trophies with the Istanbul giants.

His impressive performances have fueled ongoing transfer speculation, with English Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal all expressing interest in the Super Eagles star. A return to Napoli, however, seems off the table due to a breakdown in his relationship with the Italian club.
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Manchester United officials have already held discussions with their Napoli counterparts about a potential move. Despite the interest, Galatasaray are determined to retain Osimhen until the conclusion of his loan deal.
Osimhen himself has reiterated his commitment to staying at Galatasaray through the January transfer window. Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, who is close to the player’s camp, confirmed on social media platform X that Osimhen has rejected multiple offers, prioritizing his dream of lifting trophies with the Yellow-Reds.
“To make this clear as ABC: Victor Osimhen rejected every offer in January 2025 to stay back at Galatasaray for the full season,” the journalist wrote.
“Yes there’s legit concrete interest but the plan has always been to stay at Galatasaray for the full season and win trophies with the team.”

Despite Victor Osimhen’s commitment to staying at Galatasaray, former coach Hamza Hamzaoğlu has expressed doubts about the club’s ability to afford a permanent deal for the striker. This could leave the door open for clubs like Manchester United or Arsenal to make a move.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are closing in on their 25th Süper Lig title, holding an eight-point lead at the top of the table. They also sit sixth in their Europa League group standings, striving to improve their European campaign.
