Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has moved to Spanish La Liga side Getafe on loan until the end of the season.
The 24 year old has found in difficult this season at Stoke making only eight starts in a campaign blighted by injuries.
And even when he’s passed fit, he has had a tough time breaking into the Stoke starting eleven.
The Spanish club have the option of buying his contract out with Stoke if the former Warri Wolves midfielder does enough to convince them.
Getafe have been on the look out for a central midfielder since the reliable Markel Bergara announced he was retiring at the end of the season.
Etebo moved to Stoke for about 8 million pounds after impressing with Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

A good first season at Stoke was negated by injuries this current campaigned which has seen him make only eight starts.
This will be Etebo’s second adventure in Spain after spending time with Las Palmas in the 2016/17 season before the team was relegated.
