Imuran, who recently parted ways with French club Stade Reims, has signed a three-year deal with the Lionesses.

The 20-year-old played a key role in helping Stade Reims achieve back-to-back top six finishes during her two-year stint at the club.

Head coach Jocelyn Prêcheur expressed his excitement over the arrival of the talented centre-back.

“I have explained in the past that to develop this team we really wanted to focus on two profiles – experienced players who can lead and young players with huge talent and potential,” Prêcheur told the club’s official website.

“Rofiat fits into the second category. She already has brilliant experience and playing at the Under-20 World Cup was a wonderful opportunity for her to learn more. She’s very fast, left-footed, and likes to attack the space behind the defenders.

“Rofiat still needs to develop, but this is a very good opportunity for us to help her improve. She can play every position on the left and will contribute offensively this season.”
