Tottenham Hotspur have strengthened their squad by signing goalkeeper Antonín Kinský from Slavia Prague in a £12.5 million deal.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Czech Republic U21 international has committed to a contract until 2031, addressing a critical need for depth in Spurs’ injury-plagued goalkeeping department.
The club has faced a crisis between the posts, with first-choice keeper Guglielmo Vicario out with an ankle injury and Fraser Forster sidelined by illness during the recent 2-1 loss to Newcastle, leaving 25-year-old Brandon Austin to make his senior club debut.

“Having featured for the Czech Republic’s youth teams from Under-15 to Under-21 level, Antonín earned his first senior call-ups ahead of the 2024 October and November UEFA Nations League fixtures.”
His arrival comes at a crucial time as Spurs seek to strengthen their squad, with injuries and a dip in form affecting their campaign.
Kinský’s move to North London represents the club’s first signing of the January transfer window, as they continue to address gaps in their squad, including in attack and midfield.
Tottenham fans will be hoping the Czech goalkeeper can help steady the ship as Spurs aim to recover from their recent slump.
