Trending Sunday Updates On Pogba, Dembele, Harry Kane & Aguero

Paul Pogba will not be making a return to Juventus

Paul Pogba’s return to Juventus in the summer has been one of the biggest transfer rumors making the rounds for much of this season.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Juventus has been talking with his agent, Mino Raiola about a return to Andrea Pirlo’s side.

However, they have been forced to admit that the transfer will not happen because they don’t have the financial means to complete it this summer.

United wants to keep the Frenchman and this is the best time to decide on his future.

The report also says that the midfielder is now expected to extend his stay at Old Trafford beyond the next campaign.

Manchester United and Liverpool keeping tabs on Barcelona star’s delicate contract situation

Mundo Deportivo has provided an update on the future of Ousmane Dembele at Barcelona – and Premier League clubs are waiting for the winger if he is unable to agree on a contract extension with the Catalan giants.

As reported by the Transfer market, Dembele’s contract is due to expire in 2022. That leaves Barcelona with two options, should a contract agreement not be reached, either sell him this summer or face the possibility of losing him for free next year.

A club with Barcelona’s financial problems cannot afford to lose an asset like Dembele without receiving a penny in exchange, especially considering they paid £135.5M to sign him, as per the BBC.

Thankfully for Barca, there doesn’t appear to be any shortage of interest in signing Dembele, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are all keeping tabs on the situation.

Harry Kane urged to leave Tottenham for Man Utd by former Spurs co-star

Harry Kane has been told to reject a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid in favour of Manchester United by his former Tottenham teammate Rafael van der Vaart.

The England captain has now scored 215 goals for Spthe urs without winning a trophy, and he had made his desire to fight for titles at club level no secret in recent months.

“He (Roy Keane) is right, although, of course, he is the man at Tottenham. It may sound crazy, but you would almost say go to Manchester United or something, stay in England.

“Usually, it’s not such a success when an English player goes to Madrid.”

Solskjaer rules out Man United-Aguero transfer, cites loyalty to Man City

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out a move to sign Sergio Aguero next season because of the striker’s decade-long association with rivals Manchester City.

City announced on Tuesday that their record goalscorer will leave the club at the end of this season when his contract expires.

Solskjaer has said he does not expect Aguero to follow in Tevez’s footsteps this summer.

“I wouldn’t expect any player who played for a club for 10 years to want to go to their local rivals,” Solskjaer told reporters.

“I know we’re professionals, but when you play for Man United you don’t go to Man City. We’ve had examples of that and I didn’t receive them.
