Eko Hot Blog reports that the immediate past Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, has written to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, demanding an investigation into a case of false allegations levelled against him.
Fashola’s lawyer, Olanrewaju Akinsola, also asked the IGP to probe the sources of fake reports alleging ex-Works Minister is writing Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal judgement.
It would be recalled that there had been allegations on social media that the former Minister and some others were drafting the judgment to be read by the tribunal judges in favour of President Bola Tinubu.
Fashola, in his reaction through a statement released on Sunday by his media aide, Hakeem Bello, had described the allegations as baseless and defamatory.
