EKO HOT BLOG reports that a witness representing the Labour Party (LP) and Peter Obi in the President Election Petition Tribunal testified that 2.5 million accredited votes were not reflected in the final result of the February 25 presidential election announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The witness, Professor Eric Ofoedu, a Mathematics professor at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, analyzed election results from the commission’s IReV portal and found that a significant number of accredited votes were not recorded.
He stated that 2,565,629 accredited voters’ votes were not reflected in the final result.
During cross-examination, Prof. Ofoedu clarified that his analysis was an academic exercise for the benefit of his students.
He also explained his use of projection in analyzing election results from Rivers and Benue States.
The witness presented evidence of data analysis from the presidential election in Rivers and Benue states, including 18,088 blurred polling unit results downloaded from the IREV portal.
He emphasized the importance of analyzing Form EC8As (polling unit results) in determining election outcomes.
