Buhari, Osinbajo, Lawan, Sanwo-Olu, Others Hail Tinubu @70

EKO HOT BLOG reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has joined members, leaders and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in rejoicing with the National Leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, on his 70th birthday.
The former Lagos State governor was born on March 29, 1952.

In a congratulatory message by his spokesperson, Femi Adesina, Buhari affirmed the contributions of the party stalwart to the political, economic and social development of the country.
He praised Tinubu for setting a standard in leadership, governance and philanthropy.
President Buhari noted that his courage, resilience, selflessness and nobility in always placing the welfare and unity of the nation above self, backed with vision of a greater Nigeria through investments in people, institutions and governments, without minding tribe or creed.
“Always Ready To Push Boundaries”
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), while congratulating Tinubu, said he is always ready to push boundaries.
In a statement he personally signed on Tuesday, the Vice President said: “It gives Dolapo and I great pleasure to send you our heartfelt birthday felicitations. And it is a unique one indeed; the Platinum Jubilee and the completion of yet another remarkable decade.”
Commending Tinubu’s service to the nation in different capacities, Osinbajo joined “the entire family, friends and associates to celebrate you on your 70th birthday and we pray that as your days, so shall your strength, wisdom and favour with God be.”
“Leader of Leaders”
Felicitating with Tinubu on the occasion of his 70th birthday, President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, described him as leader of leaders.
According to him, Tinubu was an astute administrator who laid a solid foundation for the modernisation of Lagos State and a visionary political leader with a track record of building people and organisations.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has lived a life of service, impacting many lives in several decades of active political participation and public service.
“This has made him a political pathfinder, leader of leaders, and a legend in his own lifetime,” a statement by Lawan’s spokesman partly reads.
“… a political colossus and a worthy kingmaker…”
As tributes continue to pour in, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has also extolled the All progressives Congress national leader, describing him as a political colossus and a worthy kingmaker whose antecedents are worth celebrating.
“A master strategist”
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State said the APC leader is visionary, consistent, loyal, enigmatic and a master strategist.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu said Tinubu’s democratic credentials were scholarly materials for study in political economy.
“A living legend”
In his statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State hailed Mr Tinubu’s resilience and commitment to creating standards in party politics and investments in political leadership.
“Jagaban, you remain a leader of leaders; a living legend bestriding our political firmament like a colossus.
“On this auspicious occasion of your 70th birthday, we salute your efforts and dedication to nation-building and national development…”
