In a statement on Tuesday, Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Osoba, Chief Military Information Officer of the MNJTF Headquarters in N’djamena, Chad, reported that the syndicate, identified as Modu Gana, Mamman Saleh, and Babagana Muktar, was apprehended while attempting to deliver supplies to terrorists in their hideouts.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the suspects, who confessed to being key logistics providers for the terrorist group, were found with a cache of items intended for the terrorists. These included a Tecno phone, six goats, a carton of Maggi, various charms, bags of guinea corn and millet, ground corn, metal bowls, a calculator, a wristwatch, perfume, prayer beads, 36 empty sacks, and other essential supplies for sustaining terrorist activities.

The suspects are currently undergoing intense interrogation to extract further intelligence that could lead to additional arrests and the dismantling of the terrorist logistics supply network in the Lake Chad region.
“The MNJTF Troops’ swift action and collaboration with intelligence operatives have once again demonstrated their commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the region,” the statement added.
