Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have disrupted a suspected logistics supply chain for Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) insurgents following the interception of two pick-up vans in Borno State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the operation was carried out by troops of Sector 2 of the Joint Task Force, North-East Operation Hadin Kai, working alongside members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), after actionable intelligence revealed the movement of suspected materials from Dapchi in Yobe State towards the Magumeri axis of Borno.

Confirming the development in a statement on Friday, the Media Information Officer of Operation Hadin Kai, Lt. Col. Sani Uba, said the vehicles were intercepted along the identified route after troops were tactically deployed based on credible human intelligence.

According to him, items recovered during the operation included two civilian pick-up vehicles, 31 spare tyres, 23 rims, two bicycles, 12 ignition starters, three alternators, bags of flour and charcoal, a mattress, blankets, nylon-wrapped garri, assorted clothing for adults and children, tubers of yam, mobile phones, a power bank, and cash in various denominations.
Lt. Col. Uba disclosed that the drivers of the intercepted vehicles, along with the recovered items, are currently in military custody for further questioning to determine their level of involvement and possible links to terrorist logistics networks.

He said the successful operation further demonstrated the effectiveness of intelligence-driven military actions and sustained collaboration between security forces and local partners in cutting off supplies to insurgent groups.
Uba added that troops remain committed to denying terrorists freedom of movement, dismantling their supply chains, and ensuring the safety of residents across the North-East region.
