Troost-Ekong Bids Emotional Farewell To PAOK Thessaloniki As He Moves To Saudi

Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has written a heartfelt farewell message to PAOK Thessaloniki and its fans as he prepares to embark on the next chapter of his football career, reports Soccernet.ng.

After a standout performance at AFCON 2023, where he was named Player of the Tournament, the 30-year-old was linked with a move to the Middle East. Troost-Ekong was a key player for PAOK before a ruptured biceps femoris in his right leg in February required surgery, sidelining him for the remainder of the season. Despite the injury, he played a pivotal role in PAOK’s Super League triumph, making 22 appearances and scoring one goal across all competitions.
