“I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services,” Trump wrote. “For too long, Americans have been burdened by an industrial food complex and pharmaceutical companies that have misled the public on health matters through deception and misinformation.
The safety and health of Americans are paramount, and HHS will help protect everyone from harmful substances that have fueled our health crisis.”
He added that Kennedy would restore HHS agencies to uphold “Gold Standard Scientific Research” and bring “Transparency” to end the chronic disease epidemic, aiming to “Make America Great and Healthy Again.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is part of the well-known Kennedy family; he is the son of former U.S. Attorney General and Senator Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and Senator Ted Kennedy.
