Trump Addresses Shooting At Pennsylvania Rally

Trump recounts Pennsylvania rally shooting that left one dead, one injured, and resulted in a minor injury to his ear.

Eko Hot Blog reports that United States Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has recounted the shooting incident at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which left one person dead and another seriously injured.

The former President was rushed off the stage on Saturday after what sounded like gunshots were heard.

Trump sustained a minor injury during the attack, with a bullet piercing the upper part of his right ear. The Secret Service quickly escorted him off the stage after the shots were fired.

In a statement released on Sunday, Trump provided details about his injury and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. He also thanked law enforcement for their prompt response to the shooting.

He said, “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.

“I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.
