Tuchel Reveals A Chelsea Star Who Has Impressed Him Since He Arrived

While Tuchel is still getting to know the players at his disposal, one player looks to have already caught the new blues boss attention.

The blues new head coach ThomasTuchel has revealed that he has been impressed by a certain player at Chelsea since he took over.

Tuchel was appointed as Chelsea’s new manager on Wednesday, following the dismissal of Frank Lampard, after a poor run of form at the club.

The German has already taken charge of his very first game in charge of the blues, as they played out a 0-0 draw at home to Wolves.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , Tuchel revealed during an interview that he has been impressed from the footages he has seen of Chelsea’s academy graduate Mason Mount so far.

Recall that prior to his appointment, there were speculations that Mount may not be favoured by the German, unlike his former boss Frank Lampard.

But that may not be the case for Mason Mount, as Tuchel has admitted that he loves what he is seeing from Mount, and admits that he is such a talented player. He had this to say,

“I like what I see from Mason so far, from his personality that I get to know now from three days. It’s amazing. Such a nice guy, such a competitive guy, such a lot of talent. And the most important – every game I watch so far he leaves his heart on the pitch”.

The German tactician went further to state that he is very much committed to seeing Mason Mount improve under his watch, and will not stop pushing the 22 year old to get even better.

“He cares for Chelsea 100 percent. He gives the 100 percent every time he plays and this is the best basis for a big development. I am very happy to have him around. I will not stop pushing him, I will not stop guiding him, I will not stop trusting him. There is absolutely nothing to worry about”.

It’s still yet to be seen what role Mason Mount will play under Thomas Tuchel, as he wasn’t included in German’s first team line up against Wolves, thus coming on from the bench.

But one thing is certain, which is the fact that Mount is no doubt a key part of this Chelsea team, as his stats does speak for him.
