Tunji Alausa has lauded Nigerian Nurses at the National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi Nursing School Matriculation Ceremony.

He made the commendation on Friday while delivering an address at the 2023/2024 matriculation ceremony of the National Orthopaedic Hospital Nursing School, Igbobi.
Dr. Alausa praised Nigerian nurses, describing them as the best-trained and most competent in the world.
“Our nursing curriculum is among the finest globally,” he said, emphasizing the high standards of education and training provided in Nigeria.
The minister specifically highlighted the excellence of the Igbobi Orthopaedic Hospital, citing data that confirms its status as the leading institution in the field.
He also congratulated the new matriculating students, urging them to approach their education with dedication and seriousness.
“Do not take your education lightly; work hard to excel in your chosen field. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not a long tunnel but a short one,” Dr. Alausa encouraged.
He reminded the students of the significant investment the country is making in their education and urged them to contribute to Nigeria’s healthcare system rather than seeking opportunities abroad after their training.
The minister assured the students that the government is committed to providing all necessary resources to ensure they complete their education successfully.
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Alausa lauded President Tinubu’s achievements in his first year in office, expressing confidence that the President would continue to bring positive changes to the country.
“President Tinubu has done so much for the country in just one year of office, and he is going to do more,” he affirmed.
