#whyididntreportit I didn’t say no. I didn’t say anything. I pretended it was consensual in my head. didn’t realize it wasn’t til I went to therapy. I was also in this situation more than once so I thought no one would believe me. it was my fault for allowing it to happen.

#WhyIDidntReportIt because I grew up 3-14 thinking that it was okay and just “a game” or “our little secret”, when it happened again with a different person at 18 no one believed me because there wasn’t enough proof that it happened , I was blamed for being too drunk .

#WhyIDidntReportIt Because in the Black community it was taught that, “What happens in the family, stays in the family/ in this house.” It’s nobody’s business. 🤷🏽♂️

I was 19 and I didn’t want to seem like I was lieing for the fame and exposure people would have written me off as jus another one of his “allegations” #WhyIDidntReportIt— SADLOKA (@saddloka) June 2, 2020
#WhyIDidntReportIt. He threatened to use things against me, and he veiled it so thinly in the company of others that I was afraid he'd say it at any moment. He classically conditioned me to think it was normal. So I pretended and was "safe."

#WhyIDidntReportIt Because he was very popular and although he’s been accused of a situation like this before, I thought it was embarrassing & just felt people would call me a liar. Can still hear him say: We Can Do This The Easy Way Or The Hard Way.
