Two Abducted As Gunmen Attack Herders’ Camp In Abuja

Two persons have been abducted as gunmen attacked herders’ camp in Abuja.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that unknown gunmen have invaded a Fulani settlement at Rubochi in Kuje Area Council of the FCT, shot one person on the leg and abducted two boys.
A resident of the area simplify identified as Suleiman disclosed that the Fulani camp is just a few metres away from a police station.
The resident said, “The Fulani camp is just some few metres away from the Rubochi Police Station, and as the gunmen were shooting, the police responded by shooting into the air to scare them. But even with that, they succeeded in whisking away two boys.”

As gathered by EKOHOTBLOG, the incident was further confirmed on Wednesday by an executive of the Rubochi branch of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), who spoke on condition of anonymity, adding that, “We are yet to establish contact with the kidnappers.”
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, did not pick several calls put across to her on the incident up till the time of filing this report.
