Two Injured In Vancouver Stabbing, Suspect Shot Dead By Police
Police in Vancouver, Canada, reported that two individuals were stabbed and a suspect was shot dead by officers in a violent incident on Wednesday morning.
The attack began when police responded to a report of a man wielding a knife who had stolen alcohol from a restaurant.

Two victims were injured in the attack and were transported to the hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The identity of the deceased suspect has not been revealed.
According to Vancouver Police, the call came in about a man who had stolen alcohol and was armed with a knife inside a restaurant near the city’s central library.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the suspect inside a nearby convenience store.

The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, was shot by officers and taken into custody.
Despite efforts by police and first responders to provide aid, the suspect later died in the hospital.
The incident is under investigation, and video footage obtained by the Canadian Press shows police officers firing over a convenience store counter while shouting “move over” as they aimed their weapons.
Another video appears to show first responders performing chest compressions on the suspect.
