Two Nigerians have been arrested in Kuwait for allegedly robbing an exchange office in the Mahboula district of Kuwait City, making off with nearly $15,000.
The robbery took place in the Ahmadi Province, and the suspects were apprehended by the Kuwaiti General Department of Criminal Investigation (GDCI) within 24 hours of the crime.

According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, as reported by Arab Times Online, the suspects carefully planned the robbery, monitoring the exchange office from nearby rooftops to identify a time when it would be less crowded.
Surveillance footage captured one of the suspects exiting a vehicle while wearing a balaclava before entering the exchange office and threatening an employee with what appeared to be a firearm.
The robbers stole $14,918, approximately 4,600 Kuwaiti Dinars.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that the suspects had used stolen license plates on their getaway vehicle to hide their identities.
One of the suspects, whose identity has not been disclosed, confessed to his involvement and revealed that he had scouted the location before alerting his accomplice when the office was clear of customers.
The second suspect was apprehended at the Al-Qurain Market. During the arrest, authorities found the stolen money along with a small bag containing crystal meth at his residence.

Both suspects have been charged and referred to the public prosecution for further legal action.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed that investigations into the crime are ongoing.
