The transfer expert noted PSG’s interest in signing Osimhen, but the striker appears to have his sights set on other clubs.
Recall that Osimhen recently extend his contract with Napoli until 2026, which includes a release clause valued at 130 million euros.
However, clubs across Europe continue to pursue the Nigerian striker’s signature.
With PSG potentially in need of a striker due to Kylian Mbappe’s expected departure, Di Marzio asserts that Osimhen is unlikely to be drawn to the French club.
This is because he already has Ligue 1 experience with Lille, during which he netted 13 goals in 27 appearances during the 2019/2020 season.
He added that if Osimhen were to depart Napoli this season, his preferred destinations would likely be Chelsea or Arsenal in the English Premier League.
“I’m not so convinced that Osimhen goes to PSG, he has already played in France with Lille.”
“Logically, PSG is something else and would allow you to face matches like the Champions League semi-final.”
