The Management of the popular LA CASA Hotel situated along Yemco Road, Poka, Epe, has reacted to the unfortunate incident of 2 dead bodies found in the Hotels Diesel Tank.
The Management, in a chat with Ekohotblog, said that it is essential to correct the misapprehension of the unfortunate incident, the demise of two staff members of the hotel.
According to one of the managers, Mr Gbenga (Surname not disclosed ), two staffers, Michael and Samuel, were employees of a Security Outfit in Lagos.
“Both were gateman, and security personnel posted to the hotel and were on a night shift at their respective duty post at the inception of the night shift yesterday”.

“The unfortunate incident was unravelled in the morning when the morning shift staff reported for duty, meeting the security gate unmanned.”
“The morning staff apparently became worried and searched for their whereabouts, wondering why they could have neglected and deserted their respective duty posts”
“While the search was going, one of the guards noticed a ladder leaning on the diesel tank”
Upon further investigation, when the first guard climbed the ladder, the two bodies of the staff members were discovered, drenched in diesel with no signs of breathing”.he continued.
“The police authority was notified immediately, and the two bodies have been conveyed to the Morgue at the Epe General Hospital”, he said
“He stated further that the evacuation of the bodies was carried out in the presence of some of the relatives of the deceased”
It is indeed a sad and tragic situation, he concluded
