Tyson Fury Has Announces Retirement From Boxing

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Two-time world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury has announced his retirement from boxing.

The British in a post on his social media page on Saturday disclosed that he would retire from boxing when he turns 34.

The announcement is coming three days after Fury said he would be returning to the ring to fight.

Fury in the post on his social media page wrote, “Massive thanks to everyone who had an input in my career over the years & after long hard conversations (I’ve) finally decided to walk away & on my 34th birthday I say bon voyage.”

Fury in April in a clash with Dillian Whyte at London’s Wembley Stadium had stated that he would retire after the bout.

The British after his sixth-round KO over Whyte on April 23 said, “I think this is it.”

Fury had on Tuesday announced that he would return to the boxing ring.

The boxer had wanted to fight Derek Chisora, whom he called out in a video on Instagram.

Fury said, “You’re running, Derek, from the trilogy, you call yourself war, you should call yourself a chicken. I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight world champion in history to have two trilogies. I’d always say I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career.”

He had previously defeated Chisora twice, and there was no deal in place for a third clash between the two fighters.

Fury in 33 professional fights, (32-0-1) remained undefeated, only registering one draw against Deontay Wilder in 2018.

The boxer ended his trilogy with Wilder with back-to-back knockouts before fighting Whyte
