U17 World Cup: Nigeria's Golden Eaglets Come From Behind To Defeat Hungary

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria came from behind to beat Hungary 4-2 in their first Group B fixture at the 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup in Brazil.
The Hungary team took the lead three minutes into the start of the game before Nigeria Captain levelled through Penalty.
It didn’t take for the European team to restore their lead as the Eaglet defensive error gifted them 2-1 lead into the second half.
However, Manu Garba’s boys came back stronger in the second half but were denied many opportunities by the organised Hungary team.

It was Captain Samson Tijani’s brace and lone efforts from Usman Ibrahim and Oluwatimilehin Adeniyi secured maximum points for the African country at Estadio Olimpico in Goiania on Saturday.
The Golden Eaglets finally got a breath of relief after Ibrahim turned in Ibrahim Said’s corner kick into the back of the net with his header in the 79th minute.
Adeniyi completed the turned around for the West Africans two minutes later before Tijani put the icing on the cake with his fine free-kick in the 85th minute.
The victory fired Nigeria to the top of Group B with three points after their opening game.
They will take on Ecuador on Tuesday and will be hoping to build on their gallant display against the Hungarians.
