UCL: Nigerian Striker Scores Twice As Club Bridge Held Real Madrid

Nigerian international, Emmanuel Dennis scored a brace to help his team, Club Bridge secure a 2-2 draw against European giant, Real Madrid in the Champions League matchday 2.

Club Brugge took a surprise lead in the first half of the encounter as the latest Super Eagles invited struck twice at Santiago Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, in the second half, Zenedine Zidane’s team fought hard from two goals down to force the Belgian team to a draw.

However, Dennis becomes the third Nigerian ever to score against Los Blancos in the Champions League.

Dennis opened the scoring for his side after just 9 minutes before finishing his brace half an hour later.

His first goal needed VAR to overturn an incorrect offside decision against the Belgian side after the forward mishandled Percy Tau’s cross past Thibaut Courtois.

The Nigerian did benefit from Luka Modric’s mistake to net home his second goal of the day at the packed Santiago Bernabeu in Spain.
