UCL: Ten-Man Juventus Come From Behind To Beat RB Leipzig

Juventus mounted an extraordinary comeback to defeat RB Leipzig in the Champions League despite having goalkeeper Michele di Gregorio sent off.

Di Gregorio was shown a red card in the 59th minute for handling the ball outside the box with the score level at 1-1, after Dusan Vlahovic’s equalizer had cancelled out Benjamin Sesko’s opener for Leipzig.

Slovenian forward Sesko regained Leipzig’s lead with a 65th-minute penalty, but Serbia’s Vlahovic responded with his second goal to make it 2-2.

In a dramatic encounter, Francisco Conceicao sealed the victory for Juventus with an 82nd-minute goal, giving the Italians two wins from two in the competition.

The win came despite injuries to captain Gleison Bremer and Nicolas Gonzalez earlier in the game. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig’s Champions League struggles continued, as they remain winless in their last four matches ahead of their next fixture against Liverpool on October 23.
