UCL: Top Stars Set To Miss The Quarter-Final First Leg
The first leg of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-final matches is here again, as various top teams prepare to face each other for an opportunity to move to the semi-finals.
The first leg most times, play a significant role as it gives teams better opportunity of qualification (as a big goal difference can affect the morale of the other team either positively or negatively) and also, how to prepare for the returning fixture.
Some top teams have been battling with injuries as they seek for quicker solution for the first leg match.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , One of the top absentees for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League match is Bayern Munich’s attacker, Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski, will be missing the first leg, and probably the second leg of their crunch fixture against Paris Saint-Germain, as it was confirmed that he suffered a knee injury during Poland’s 3-0 win against Andorra, in last week’s International match.
However, Real Madrid will have to be without the service of both of their senior defenders as Raphael Varane, was earlier reported to have tested positive for COVID-19, with Sergio Ramos still nursing a calf injury.
