Eko Hot Blog reports that Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has forecasted that Serge Gnabry, the 28-year-old right-winger, will find the net against Real Madrid tonight, April 30th.
Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich tonight at 8 p.m. in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich, hosting the tie, hold a 42 percent chance of winning, while their visitors, Real Madrid, have a 32 percent chance of winning.
The coaches of the two sides, Thomas Tuchel of Bayern, and Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid are previous winners of the competition.
The two clubs are also two of the most successful clubs in the competition.
Hence, it is perceived as a highly challenging match likely to determine a victor either through penalties or by a narrow margin.
Even amidst the game’s precariousness, Thomas Tuchel is confident that Serge Gnabry, who has netted two goals in his past five UEFA Champions League outings, will at least contribute one goal.
“Gnabry is going to score against Real Madrid”, Thomas Tuchel said as quoted by Madrid Universal.
“I don’t know how I know, but it’s going to happen.”
Recalled that Gnabry joined Bayern Munich from Werder Bremen for a mere €8 million on July 1, 2017, has tallied five goals and one assist in 17 appearances across all competitions for Bayern this season.
