UEFA: Nigeria Forward Named In Champions League Team Of The Week

Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis has been named in the UEFA Champions League team of the week following his brilliant performance against Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Dennis netted a brace for Club Brugge in their 2-2 away draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday and narrowly missed out on a hat-trick.

The forward joined Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry, Liverpool’s Mohamed Sarah, and Van De Beek of Ajax Amsterdam in the midfield of four, while Salzburg’s Minamino, Bayern Munich’s Lewandoski and Liverpool’s Firmino leads the attack.

The three man defense comprises of Dortmund’s Hakimi, Lucimi and PSG’s Meunier and Dortmund’s Bukki was the goalkeeper.

Dennis is also up for the UEFA Champions League player of the week award.
