UEFA Reacts After Messi & Ronaldo Set New UCL Record For The First Time In 16 Years

  • The whole world on Wednesday tuned in to the UEFA champions league clash between Barcelona and Paris Saint German last night hoping to see another Messi magic

  • When Juventus got knocked out in the competition , the attention was all on Ronaldo as he once again failed to make the difference in a competition the Old Lady hoped he would help them lift for the first time in two decades.

The attention then shifted to the his archrival, Messi as Barcelona travelled to PSG hoping to secure a comeback but unfortunately, they also got knocked out of the UCL.

Having lost 4-1 in the first leg, Barcelona had a mountain to climb if they were hoping to qualify but that hope was shattered by Mbappe as he scored in the 31st minute to give PSG the lead.

In as much as Messi got Barça levelled in the after his fine long-range effort from outside the box, Barcelona crashed out of the UCL losing 5-2 on Aggregate.

Lionel Messi tried to drag his side on by scoring a world class goal, his penalty miss meant that it became a big mountain to climb.

Barcelona and Lionel Messi will have to and try again as they wait to win the UEFA champions league for the first time since 2015.

Immediately after the match, Paris Saint German players showed love and respect for Lionel Messi, with players taking turns to hug and kiss him, EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.
