The University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State, has announced the resumption of physical lectures in the institution.
This was made known via a statement by the UI Registrar, Olubunmi Faluyi, on Wednesday.
The statement was titled, ‘Notice of physical resumption for rest of first semester 2020/2021 academic session’.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that UI had earlier suspended all physical lectures in the institution till further notice as part of efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

The institution has since been running online classes for its students since it announced the suspension of physical lectures.
However, the UI Registrar, on Wednesday, stated that physical lectures for the rest of the first semester of 2020/2021 will commence on Monday.
“This is to inform students that the University will resume physical lectures and examinations for the rest of the First Semester of 2020/2021 Academic Session on Monday, 7 June 2021.
“Other details in relation to the physical resumption will be communicated in due course,” the statement read.
