Ebonyi Governor, Mr David Umahi, has sworn-in the new Accountant-General of the state, Mr Emeka Nwankwo.
Also inaugurated on Tuesday were the 13 elected 13 Local government chairmen and newly-appointed Special Assistants.
Mr Umahi explained his reason for the repeated change of the State’s accountant.
Less than two months, Mr Umahi appointed Mr Mojibade Ekuma as a replacement for Mr Christiana Ukwuta, the former AG.

Speaking at the Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, Mr Umahi said he doesn’t care about critics’ opinion.
He also revealed that changes were in line with government’s targets and vision.
“I am appointing another Accountant- General. I know that people will write me on Facebook, but I don’t care. Until I get the Ministry of Finance right, I will not care.
“And I am happy that the incoming one is a young man who is knowledgeable in ICT and an Accountant. So when they cajole me that I have the fourth Accountant- General, I don’t care because we must get it right.
