Undergraduate Nabbed While Attempting To Use Roommate For Ritual

A student of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Saheed Adeniran, has been caught with fetish items while attempting to use his roommate and his mother for a money ritual.
The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Police Command, Sunday Abutu.

A student of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Saheed Adeniran, has been caught with fetish items while allegedly trying to use his roommate and his mother for a money ritual.

The student was said to have been nabbed by the residents of Ifaki-Ekiti in Ido-Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that some of the items found in possession of Adeniran include clothes, fabric to be tied around the waist, two calabashes (one covered with a lid, the other, a small-sized gourd), and a native pot covered with a lid.

The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Police Command, Sunday Abutu.

He noted that the incident occurred on Friday, adding that investigation had begun into the matter.

The police spokesperson further stated that the suspect had fled before the report was brought to the police.

He added that efforts were ongoing to apprehend him.

Abutu said, “The case is still under investigation. The incident happened on Friday, April 30th.

“The suspect is still at large. I don’t know how it happened, but it was when the report came to us that we started working on it.

“They did not report to the police immediately the incident occurred, though, we are still investigating what led to it. It is until we get the suspect that we will know if it is a true story.”

While speaking on the health condition of the alleged victim, the police spokesperson said, “I can’t tell if he was used, but in terms of his physical appearance, he is still active.”
