The board of Unity Bank Plc has announced Wednesday, October 16, 2019, as the date for its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM), a notice from the lender has said.
It was stated that the shareholders’ meeting will take place on that day by 10am at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
It was also gathered that, at the meeting, participants would be required to approve the audited accounts of the company for the year ended December 31, 2019, as well as the reports of the directors, auditors and audit committee.
They would also be expected to re-elect the company’s directors, elect KPMG Professional Services as auditors to replace the retiring Ahmed Zakari & Co.
Shareholders at the gathering would be asked to authorise the directors to fix the remuneration of the auditors, elect members of the audit committee. and then approve remuneration of directors.
