Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Wife Of APC Youth Leader
- The wife of the Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs. Arikeade Oni-Salawu, has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
- Mrs. Salawu, who is a medical doctor, was abducted in front of her residence in Ibadan.
The wife of the Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs. Arikeade Oni-Salawu, has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The wife of the APC Youth Leader, EKO HOT BLOG gathered, was abducted in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Sunday evening.
Mrs. Salawu, who is a medical doctor, was reportedly abducted in front of her residence at Aromolaran, Old Ife Road, Ibadan, around 10.00pm on Sunday.
A source close to the family disclosed that the wife of the APC Youth Leader was driving in front of her husband, and when she was about to open their house gate, the assailants attacked her and whisked her away.

It was further learnt that she was kidnapped in a Nissan Micra car.
“They were both coming home. She was driving in front while the husband was driving behind.
“As she alighted to open the gate of the house, the kidnappers surfaced, brandishing guns and other dangerous objects. They kidnapped the wife in the process. That was around 10.00 pm last night,” the source revealed.
It was gathered that the gunmen have not contacted any of the family members as of the time of writing this report.
The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, has not reacted to the incident.
